NATURE OF TRAINING
- PTTC's training are focussed on providing skill for employment and self-employment, not for further study
- All trainings have skill development emphasis by providing real work situatuiion through On the Job Training (OJT) opportunity
- Both short duration (upto 12 weeks) and long duration (upto 52 weeks) training packages are available
- Training are both pre-service and in-service
- Most of the training are provided in a modular format with 80 percent practical and 20 percent theory base
- Trainings are both institutional based at PTTC, and mobuile throughout the catchment are and other parts of the country according to the need
- All training are focussed upon skill development with supporting knowledge and attitudes to do the job
- Follow up of the training is a regular ongoing activity to determine its usefulness and to design further training packages, too
- Trainings are designed on the basis of Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
- Tailor made trainings are also available as per the request and/or need
